Holden Chapel Missionary Baptist Church is actively searching for our next pastor.
Our church is in the heart of the Boiling Springs.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate possesses these characteristics and qualifications:

• Possess spiritual maturity that reflects the character of Christ in both private and public life
• Is lead by the Holy Spirit
• Has a passion for edification and spiritual growth of God's Church through the expository preaching of God's word and facilitating Bible study.
• Communicates meaningful insight from scripture in a way that connects with the congregation.
• Able to serve as the leader of the Board of Deacons with the main responsibilities of the pulpit ministry and the administration of ordinances.
• Supports the church ministries
• Performs Biblical counseling services Desired Qualifications
• Born again, baptized believer who loves the Lord.
• Be a licensed and ordained minister in the Baptist faith.
• Fulfill the scriptural qualifications of a leader found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1: 5-9
• Possess a proficiency in biblical theology
• Prefer a bachelor's degree from an accredited College /University and Theological Seminary training (preferred).
• Promotes Growth and pastoral care capabilities.
• Demonstrates financial awareness and responsibility.
• Demonstrate effective administration skills
• Must be able to organize and lead staff.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Possess the ability to disciple, teach, and shepherd members.
• Require three letters of recommendation (clergy, layperson, and personal).
• Require copies of license, ordination, transcripts of educational accomplishments.
